Counseling Ministry
A ministry that Ten12 is focused on is the recovery and restoration of hurting people. Ten12 has workers who are licensed mental health counselors. We are delighted and overwhelmed as people in Southeast Asia contact Ten12 asking for help. Ten12 is currently meeting privately with individuals for counseling issues. This ministry has the potential to grow as so many suffer from trauma and interpersonal issues.
Ten12 is serving in a country where in 2017 an estimated 237 million people suffered from depression, and other mental and emotional diagnosable illnesses, according to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2019). However, fear of exposure and the stigma of seeking professional help; forces the majority of the country's residents to live untreated and isolated in their hurts. Counseling is a relative new field in the country. Ten12 is seeing believers from the underground fellowships, and non-believers open up and gain control of their lives through Christian counseling.
